EMPOWERING ETHNIC ALBANIANS IN BRITISH COLUMBIA

It has been a challenge for the Albanian diaspora in BC to connect as a community due to the small populations that are scattered across the province. This project worked to empower the Albanian community in BC through several initiatives like creating informational workshops with a focus on health education, employment opportunities, as well as settlement information. The creation of an Albanian Business in BC Directory was created, in addition to launching the AlbMentor mentorship program to connect new youth with successful mentors and residents in BC to support their development journeys.
