Social Impact Lab

Social Impact Lab (SIL)

The Social Impact Lab (SIL) is a hands-on platform for UBC students to collaborate with community organizations on social and climate justice issues. It empowers students to challenge existing systems and develop community-led solutions. SIL offers free, low-barrier opportunities for students to engage in awareness, analysis, and action on critical issues, with no prior experience needed.

By participating in Social Impact Lab workshops and events, you will:

  • Network with other passionate students and community organizations.
  • Develop new career skills through experiential learning opportunities.
  • Collaborate with and learn from a diverse range of people and organizations.
  • Develop ideas and solutions through actionable projects that tackle social and environmental issues.
