Description
Understand individual viewpoints by reflecting on personal values, skills and identities as a basis for community action. Participants will explore community action as a space, opportunity and personal journey.
Learning Objectives
• Explore the different roles and identities you have, outside of being a student at UBC.
• Identify ways you are connected to local communities.
• Learn to make connections between your own interests, values, and opportunities for community engagement in Vancouver.
Length: 60 min. Also available as a 90 minute workshop, combined with Community Action: Vancouver Exploration.
Availability: In-person, Virtual

All workshops are available both in-person and virtually.
Workshops may be requested by faculty, staff and student clubs or groups. They can be leveraged as a development opportunity for student leaders, entrenched within a course or as a concurrent session during your event.
